Overview
A short-let apartment booking service that provides users with budget-friendly luxury apartments. Amaris stays offers users a hand picked selection of upscale apartments that offer the perfect blend of comfort and style. However, with the goal of being the household brand name when it comes to luxury short-let apartments, I was enlisted as a product manager intern to help bring the product to life.

My Role
I was on board as a product manager intern to build the platform’s website that tackled the issue of getting affordable luxury apartments in Lagos, Nigeria. I thought to myself that I could give Airbnb a run for their money in Nigeria.
- I collaborated with the product lead and we led the product as it passed through the various stages stages of vision, user research, market analysis, strategy, design, and initial MVP.
- Led the product team alongside the product lead consisting of a designer and an engineer, carried out a user research to know the underlying pain points of people when looking to get budget friendly short-let apartments.
- Created a profitable product through a strategic blend of R&D experimentations and collaborations.
- Developed features and experiences based off of data derived from the user research and swot analysis of competitors, and this gave the business a unique selling proposition.
- I defined product requirements and oversaw its progress, ensuring a successful and timely development of the product.
- Maintained close collaboration with the design team to align our solution with user needs and preferences, incorporating their feedback and suggestions to refine the design.

Quick Search
The quick search widget enables users to quickly search for apartments in the location of their choice, it is accessible to both registered and unregistered users on the platform, and this was done in order to foster a low time to value, and reduce churn.
